Dr. Ellie Izzo – Author, Creator of the Rapid Advance Process, co-founder of Sentbeat

Ellie Izzo, PhD, LPC – http://www.sentbeat.com

Dr. Ellie Izzo created and developed the Rapid Advance Process in 1990.  It was originally conceived as a process to quickly offer relief to adult survivors of childhood trauma. The process has been globally effective because it trains the client to move out of negative brain circuitry and to build new neural pathways to the higher brain. This neural shift results in a better thinking and feeling outcome and contributes to optimum health. She created and wrote about the Rapid Advance Process in her doctoral dissertation and with Vicki Carpel Miller, LMFT, further developed the process for treatment of Vicarious Trauma.

Ellie is co-founder of and a core trainer with the Vicarious Trauma Institute and the Collaborative Divorce Institute. Ellie is the author of The Bridge to I Am: Rapid Advance Psychotherapy ©2007 and co-author with Vicki of Second Hand Shock and the Just Stop Series. She authors a blog at docellie.com.

Ellie created and developed with Vicki, an Emotional Intelligence APP, Sentbeat ™, which is currently available in the Apple and Google Play Stores. This app helps the user to immediately reposition to healthier thinking at the critical point of upset.

She also serves as a Trainer, Communication Coach, Child Specialist, and/or Team Manager in the process of Collaborative Practice and Collaborative Divorce, whereby a team of professionals works together with clients to resolve disputes respectfully, without litigating.
